Our story

Glowing Minds began with a simple observation: across our communities, talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Bright young people were leaving school without the digital skills employers needed, adults had ambition but no access to training, and vulnerable families were falling through the gaps of formal support.

A group of educators, technologists and community workers came together to change that. What started as weekend computer lessons and mentoring sessions grew into a structured organization — GLOWING MINDS INITIATIVES FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMEN — formally registered in Nigeria under Charity ID: 180249.

Today we run programs in digital literacy, skills development, youth leadership and community welfare, always guided by the people we serve.

Governance & leadership

The organization is overseen by a board of trustees responsible for strategy, financial oversight and safeguarding. Day-to-day work is led by an executive team that reports regularly to the board. Financial records are maintained in line with Nigerian non-profit requirements, and program outcomes are reviewed on a recurring cycle.
